Kris Hunt

Kris is a user interface designer and icon artist who combines a strong interest and understanding of technology with visual design skill. His twenty years of experience designing for a wide range of products give him a well-honed aesthetic for functional design and creative form.

While keeping client goals in mind, he believes that involving users and focusing on visual communication is the best way to create usable and beautiful products.

Touchscreen UIs + Mobile Apps
From conceptual wireframes to high-resolution graphics, Kris has produced compelling, user-friendly designs that solve the technical challenges of mobile interfaces. He has designed mobile apps for laptop-based touchscreen UIs as well as Android and iOS for Bio-Rad Laboratories, CVS Caremark, Direct Supply, Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Qvidian, and Skyward.

Web + Desktop Apps
Kris has been involved in the design and implementation of comprehensive and responsive web applications. With the ever-expanding list of devices and screen sizes, Kris works to ensure his design solutions are not only usable but flexible. He is comfortable working with dev teams to create a polished final product. His work has been implemented by many companies, including Accuray, Aurora Healthcare, DIRECTV, FIS, Harley-Davidson, H&R Block, Motorola, and West Bend Mutual.

Education
Kris has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.
